Just finished up this crawlspace encapsulation for the Snellgrove family in Jones Valley!
This home was suffering from mold/fungus growth and general moisture issues. It also had a sagging area, stemming from moisture and the weight of an old piano.
We removed all the mold and fungus, installed a drainage system, a 20 MIL Encapsulation, and an Aprilaire dehumidifier.
We effectively created a climate controlled space that stops mold growth, and brings the lumber structure to a controllable moisture rating. This will decrease movement within the structure that so often leads to drywall cracking and sagging floors.
