Do you offer warranties?
We sure do! In fact, depending on the service or installation, such as crawl space encapsulation, we provide a lifetime workmanship warranty from Valley Crawlspace provided we do the complete installation. For sump pumps and dehumidifiers, you'll receive a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer.
Will crawl space encapsulation save me money?
The answer is yes! Over time, the installation costs will pay off with reduced energy bills and increased home value. If selling your home, it's a great selling feature and one that can automatically increase your asking price.
Why does it matter if I have mold in my crawl space? I'm never in there.
When mold grows and spreads it does so by mold spores that are disturbed and spread through the air. If you have mold in your crawlspace, it's likely you'll end up with mold spores in your home through ductwork and other openings. On top of that, mold is disastrous to your framework and insulation in your crawl space. It uses these sources for food and over time will weaken wooden structures like floor joists and cause the need for replacements and higher repair costs.
Can I store items in my crawl space if it's encapsulated?
Yes of course! That’s one of the great benefits. Just don’t store items near the dehumidifier to keep optimal airflow and keep in mind the flooring and walls can be damaged if sharp objects are present.
